![]() And Shock Imm is actually kind of solid for him, as it does block out Garuda, the Thunder Beast, from being able to suppress his ETs early game. Tom's trait is alright, he can protect himself from DoTs of course with his SC. If he's free to go though, your enemies better be scared because their HP bars are going to melt. Then he doesn't want to be hindered by Tanks who will eat his DoTs up protecting their team, so you want to also handle those for Tom. That being said he does heavily rely on a few important things, obviously he needs to make sure he can actually land his DoTs, so wiping any ITT and/or Bulwark off the field is necessary. Truly a wicked combination of an Attacker + a Curser. The main point of Velvet Tom isn't to spam his ETs to aim to kill, it's to chip down the enemies' bars and setup his plentiful DoTs, of which he has access to an INSANE 9 DoTs by the way, then let his enemies go as they should be in kill range for his DoTs to finish the job. He is an Earth/Fire element monster who does utilize plenty of ETs, 4 to be exact, but only one of them actually does any dmg. Velvet Tom is a very interesting take on an Extra turn Spammer that it less about dealing a lot of Damage over a single chain, and more about setting up a lot of DoTs while they chip down some HP.
